Really, there is absolutely no relationship between what our government and its leader Mark Carney say and what they do. Yesterday, I wrote the first ‘ Who’s standing up for Canada’ article, and later the same day I found this. Our government, you know, the elbows up crowd. The “The old relationship with the U.S. is over”. The “ we need to create a made in Canada economy”. You know, those guys. Well, while Canadian are avoiding American goods and passing on travel to the U.S., moves that reportedly may be costing the U.S. economy as much as $20 billion, our government is spending $29 billion on F35 jets, 10 billion on Boeing P8 patrol aircraft. Yes, the same Boeing that tried to kill Bombardier in Canada for trying to sell a plane in the U.S. that was competition to a nonexistent Boeing product
But wait, here is what is new. Canada is spending another $220 million on light tactical vehicles made in Michigan and Illinois. Our government apparently haven’t heard of Roshel who build the ‘Senator’ light armored vehicles in Toronto. These vehicles could be built on truck frames made in St. Thomas, Ontario. Senator vehicles are currently fighting in a real war in Ukraine and are performing very well, but our government, who tell us to buy Canadian are apparently determined to support Donald Trump. Maybe Carney wants to make sure that he is in Trump’s ‘Billionaire In crowd’, when he hands Canada over to the U.S.
